Opening Commemorative Vigil & Installation
10.00am - 12.00pm | Wollundry Lagoon
Join us for a poignant installation to commemorate the lives lost to intimate partner violence.
The installation will feature white ribbons provided by the Wagga Women’s Health Centre, each bearing the names and ages of the deceased. Participants are invited to walk along the pathway and reflect on the significance of each ribbon.
The event includes a performance by Amy Kubank, and guest speakers. We encourage all members of the community to attend this important event, as we come together to honour and remember those we have lost.

Melbourne Playback: RECHARGE
6.30pm - 8.00pm | The Station Wagga
Long time partners of Wagga Wagga Womens Health, The Melbourne Playback Theatre Company present RECHARGE—an hour of improvised theatre, where your experiences become the script for the show.
How do we find resilience in the face of challenging work? How do we sustain ourselves to robustly meet the challenges of injustice? How do we take care of ourselves?
RECHARGE is a night of celebration; a chance to reflect on the successes of the work we do, and to connect with one another through shared storytelling and improvised theatre
Never seen a playback performance before? In playback theatre, audience members are invited to share experiences with a facilitator. These experiences are then turned into an improvised theatre offering by an ensemble of actors.
